I will upload the budget template for the year 2015, i want you please to continue with this template and make projections for the year 2016.

I will upload the budget template for the year 2015, i want you please to continue with this template and make projections for the year 2016. you can continue using the same numbers provided in the budget template year 2015, but you must increase the number of employees and adjust the projections for the year 2016 accordingly. I also need to you to make a sales forecast for the year 2016, i will also upload a sales forecast template, you can just adjust the numbers for the year 2016 too. The last thing i want you to do is, i will upload a monthly forecast template too, if you can, please use it and project the sales forecast for the year 2016. all the numbers in these templates are numbers that i made up, so you don’t have to search for anything, you can just put in whatever number you see right to project an increase for the 2016. Thank you and let me know if you need anymore assistance.

Explain how all of the points arise and how themes appear over time and across action research cycles.

Findings chapter
Big structural changes needed so the chapter/subheadings reflect the cycles of action research. The findings chapter needs to match the methodology chapter. In the methodology I said that I would look at generating meaning over time as cumulative cycles feed into the next to create the findings through action research process. At this time the findings are static they do not feed into each other and read as if each stage rather than cycle ends with a definite conclusion and does not flow into the next cycle or offer implications for it. Stating the number of people said x does not fit with the methodology. The chapter needs transparency for how the themes were reached and analysed. It must be a self contained chapter that can be understood fully through reading just this and not the rest of the thesis. Signposting is required as to how sources fit together, justification of them and their implications for the next cycle of action research. Analytical coding – tabulation should be in the appendices. The chapter must reflect the phases of action research within cycles of data gathering. Phases are informing each other to reveal themes eg. The first stage focused on x and the data from this generated xx and was used to inform cycle 2 xxx. Reflect on the stages of the research and the sources of evidence. The core purpose of the study is to look at the process to improve practice to uncover understandings. In the introduction to the chapter reflect on the processes and relate stages to action research cycle and summarise. Do not talk about frequency of response as it must match the analysis that I use which is cycles to generate themes. Start by identifying key themes then develop my discussion and link this to literature. Provide headings for all of the tables in the chapter and refer to them in the text. I have groups of quotes must explain how I arrived at these labels. Check the mode of analysis is consistent between chapters. Provide citations when say something is evident from responses of students. Avoid general statements and support all statements with the sources of evidence over time and for initial analysis. Do not use words such as half/most as these are too general and not justified. Explain how all of the points arise and how themes appear over time and across action research cycles. Be specific over what opportunities means especially when used in relation to teamwork. Do not use the words results as it is cumulative over time. Which cycle of the research do points link to? Return to research design and cycles throughout chapter. What determined the choices made? Must be careful that the analysis of how things are reached is not methodological as it is a findings chapter.

Discuss similarities and differences between you primary research and your secondary research.

This is a dissertation and I have attached a proposal for the writers benefit. The dissertation must be structured and have the following:

Abstract (approx. 300 words)
A one page summary outlining the background to the project, aims and objectives, methods and techniques, main findings and conclusions.

Contents
List chapter by chapter the contents of the dissertation including Appendices and Bibliography, followed by a list of illustrations, figure by figure. Each listed item should have a page reference number in the dissertation.

Chapter 1– Introduction (approx. 500 words)
This should include background information on the subject under research, including appropriate concepts, theories, ongoing debates and issues. There should be a statement of the problem, the research questions and hypothesis if appropriate. The background should lead naturally into a clear statement of Aims and Objectives.

Chapter 2 – Literature Review (approx. 2500 words)
This chapter should provide a critical analysis of the literature on the topic under consideration identifying key issues. The literature review should not be a list of books articles you have read. It may be organised into themes on the topic you are researching and can also include findings of previous research. While researching and writing up the literature review, you should refer to your Aims and Objectives.

Chapter 3 – Methodology (approx. 1200 words)
In this chapter you should explain the overall approach to your research, and how you have conducted your secondary and primary research. You should explain your choice of research method(s) and the technique(s) selected for gathering data. You must explain why your chosen method(s) and technique(s) were preferred to others, how information is to be collected and the sampling technique. You should also discuss bias, and how you intend to eliminate or to minimise it to produce valid, reliable results. If there are any ethical issues associated with your research discuss them here.

Chapter 4 – Findings: Results, Analysis and Discussion (approx. 2700 words)
Present the main findings of your research here in a complete, clear and helpful way. Material may be organized thematically with appropriate headings or linked directly to your objectives.

Data from your primary research should be presented in this section and analysed with critical commentary. Comment on the quality of the responses and the reliability/limitations of the findings. It may be appropriate to present data in tables or charts. For example data from a questionnaire survey may be presented in tables, bar charts or pie charts. Data from interviews may be displayed in charts, matrices or networks.

The findings should be discussed in detail and related to your aims and objectives and to the literature review. Discuss similarities and differences between you primary research and your secondary research. It is not appropriate to introduce new literature here. It is more about placing your findings in a wider context.

Chapter 5 – Conclusion and Recommendations (approx. 500 words)
The conclusion should provide a succinct summary of your investigation, emphasizing your findings and their relationship to your Aims and Objectives. Essentially, there should be nothing new in this chapter: no new data, no new information, no further analysis or argument. The only new material which might be appropriate are any recommendations you wish to make regarding modification to theory or further research, or for practitioners or organizations which may benefit from a knowledge of the outcomes of the study.

Chapter 6 – Evaluation and reflections (approx. 300 words)
This could be included in the previous chapter, if you wish. It is a reflective critique of the research, including an assessment of how effectively the investigation has addressed the Aims and Objectives and an evaluation of the research approaches used.

Reference List
A list of sources used, presented in the format of the Harvard system of referencing. List sources alphabetically by surname.

Appendices
Charts, tables, completed questionnaires, interview transcripts and other relevant information which is referred to in the project may be located here

A single storey supermarket is situated next to a school.

A single storey supermarket is situated next to a school. It is a common occurrence that children from the school climb onto the roof of the supermarket and play on the roof. Groups of children have continued to play on the roof of the supermarket for several years. The owners of the supermarket are aware that children from the school next door frequently play on the roof and have not don anything to prevent the children from climbing the building. The supermarket building was designed by an architectural firm who were instructed to provide plans for railings surrounding the roof to prevent people from gaining access to the roof but the architects failed to include the railings in the final plans for the supermarket and the railings around the roof were never built. Recently a group of school children were playing on the roof when one child slipped from the roof as he was climbing up and has suffered serious injuries. The child, through his parents, are suing the supermarket for the child’s injuries claiming that the supermarket were negligent.

Set out the essential components of the Tort of Negligence and provide case law examples for each component and also provide possible defences that may be available to the supermarket and provide case law examples.

n.      Way forward this time? (open door policy)
2.      Chicago style use as both references and citations.
3.      Cite your work. Make sure the work is yours. I would like to see in turnitin, as most possible low numbers as possible. I want this to be original this is the main task of this work.

References:
1- Update references
2- Use 11 Academic journals, 6 Books
3-Chicago Style Writing

What are the possible applications of your project?

Plagiarism Quiz
You should complete the quiz and also visit the Skills@Library website for more information on academic integrity.

Your work will be uploaded to Turnitin. If you plagiarise, you will be caught. Several students have been excluded from the University over the last couple of years for plagiarism. Don’t let it be you!

Your report will also contain your code. This mini-project is an individual piece of work. Do not let your friends and classmates copy your code. This is collusion.

Report Outline
Create your report in Word or similar software. Use the following structure:

Title Page (include your name and SID)
Contents Page
Introduction
Hardware Description
Software Description
Results and Testing
Conclusion
References
Appendix
Use relevant subsections as you see fit i.e. 4.1 LCD Display

The suggested length is 10 to 14 pages. The appendix does not count towards the page length.

Introduction
This is your opportunity to set your report in context.
What is an embedded system?
What is a microcontroller?
What are the possible applications of your project?
List a set of clear aims and objectives for your project.
To get the best marks, you are expected to do further reading and not just rely on the lab notes.

Hardware Description
Present an overall system block diagram.
Discuss each block in depth (use sub-sections).
Include images of each block.
Link the operation of each block to the underlying theory.
To get the best marks, you are expected to do further reading and not just rely on the lab notes (e.g. how does the LCD interface work?).

Software Description
If you followed good software engineering practice, your code should be split into different functions.
Present flowchart of the overall software flow.
You should not create a flowchart that mirrors the code line-by-line, it is more of a general overview.
If the flowchart is too simple, the reader would not be able implement the algorithm.
If the flowchart is too complex, it can be difficult for the reader to follow. Find the right balance.
Present flowcharts of each function.

Results and Testing
This corresponds to the technical merit of the project in the report rubric.

Present the testing of the temperature logger.
You can take images of the LCD screen using a camera demonstrating the functionality.
To achieve the highest marks, you are required to implement original features – ensure these are discussed here to obtain credit for them.

Conclusion
Discuss each of the aims and objectives presented in the introduction.
If you did not meet them, explain why.
Discuss how you could expand the project in fututre.

References
Reference any resources you have used.
Avoid the use of Wikipedia.
Use IEEE referencing style. There are good examples on the University of York website.

Appendix
Paste your code into the appendix so that it can be run through Turnitin and checked for plagiarism/similarity with your classmates.

Formatting
Do not use colourful/jazzy Word templates. They look amateurish and detract from the technical content.
Use sections and sub-sections to break the text up. Technical reports are not like essays. Section titles are normally bold and can be slightly larger font.
Use a consistent size for your images. Ensure they are of sufficient resolution. This is especially important for images with text in.
Create your own images, avoid copying from online. If you do, respect copyright and include a reference.
Taking pictures of images on the monitor using your smartphone is terrible practice and makes the report look amateurish. Use screen-shots.
If you take pictures of hardware, do it on a clear background (e.g. white paper) and clip as much as the background out as possible. Pictures of PCB’s on a messy lab bench look awful in a report!
Place images in between paragraphs. Do not embed them within paragraphs.
Write in the passive voice.
The multiplexer circuit was designed…

Do not write in the first person
I designed the multiplexer circuit…

Include page numbers and a table of contents.
Use consistent formatting. Do not jump between different fonts and font sizes within the body of the text (this usually happens when you cut-and-paste i.e. plagiarism!).
Write in full sentences. Avoid informal language.
The first time you use an abbreviation, you should include the expanded form e.g. SPI (Serial Peripheral Information).
Write clearly. I appreciate that English may not be your first language, but you are studying at an English-speaking University. If an explanation does not make sense, it detracts from the technical content.
For students who are registered with DSAS, your work is marked for content only.

NOTE: PLEASE MAKE SURE IN THE FRONT PAGE I NEED YOU TO WRITE IN THE CENTER
