Write an argument essay of approximately 600 words on one of the articles we read for the applied ethics module. 600 words is around 2 double-spaced pages in Times New Roman font. Write this paper as though you were going to publish it in a scholarly journal. You should think of you audience as being an educated adult who has never taken a class on ethics. Your essay should include proper in-text citations in APA format for all quotations and close paraphrases of other scholars’ work. You must also include a bibliography giving the details of all the sources you cited in text. This bibliography should also be in APA format. Step Three: Write the introductory paragraph of your essay introducing the topic and stating your thesis. Your thesis will be that the author of the article you chose is mistaken in some regard.
Step Four: The first part of the body of your essay should explain the target articles thesis and how it is argued for. You may also use the lecture slides. Do not use any outside sources. In explaining the argument it is a good idea create an argument outline. This section of the paper should take at least 3 or 4 paragraphs. One paragraph might outline the argument. If you have space, use examples.
Step Five: The second part of your essay either criticizes the target article. You do not have space for more than one criticism. Create your own original example of how this criticism applies. This should be doable in two or three paragraphs.
Step Six: Write a conclusion paragraph. This paragraph should be short. It should reiterate your thesis and very briefly remind the reader of why they should accept the thesis.
