Prepare a 10-minute presentation (10-15 slides, not including title or reference slide) on organizational culture and values.

1. Describe how alignment between the values of an organization and the values of the nurse impact nurse engagement and patient outcomes.

This assignment uses a grading rubric. Instructors will be using the rubric to grade the assignment; therefore, students should review the rubric prior to beginning the assignment to become familiar with the assignment criteria and expectations for successful completion of the assignment.

Use the TNA to identify performance gaps and to establish specific training outcomes. In this first assignment, you started to develop a training needs analysis (TNA) for your chosen organization. This assignment builds on the previous one and will complete your TNA. Open the TNA created in Assignment 1 and complete steps 6-8 on the same document. Add the following section headings to your paper. 1) C.J. Pascoe, the ethnographic research in this study, identifies a gap in current research dealing with sexualized adolescent identities. What is the potential gap he identifies and how does his research fill this gap?

4) Pascoe discusses an interesting juxtaposition between the “official” and “unofficial” gender/sexuality curriculum at the school. Practical Use of the Discovery Model

The discovery phase is important to the consulting cycle as it helps detect and understand the problem in the client organization. Consider the organization you are currently working with or any other organization you know has a problem that needs to be resolved. Then, complete the following:

1. Describe what you believe to be your client’s present problem or the problem that needs a solution.
2. Provide a redefinition of the problem that expresses your understanding based on your research. Remember that a client may not accurately identify or describe a problem.
3. List the questions you will ask to elicit this information from your client and discover the problem.
4. Describe what you think will be your client’s reaction to your questions.
