Project B: Movie Evaluation The purpose of this movie evaluation is to test your ability to apply principles of interpersonal communication with simulated real-life examples. Students selecting this project must watch one of the movies listed below and write an essay that reflects on the concepts from class and how they apply to the movie. *Movie essays must be unique in that only student can write an essay on one movie. No two students can write an essay on the same movie.* A forum is available under “Discussion Board” and students must write the movie in the thread subject line-choosing movies is a first come, first serve basis. If a student would like to write about a movie not in the list below, he/she must email the professor for approval and then post their movie in the Discussion Forum. Each student is required to watch the movie for this assignment: this means you need to watch the movie again, even if you previous viewed the movie. You cannot write this essay from memory alone. Make sure you define each theoretical concept in the essay and use APA format if needed for paraphrased or quoted material. 3) Be careful to provide specific examples from the movie for each concept you discuss AND to provide an analysis linking your examples to the concepts. 4) Three academic outside sources must be used to reinforce the concepts from the text addressed in the paper. Websites (ie Wikipedia.org, etc.) are not permitted. 5) After discussing/analyzing the concepts, provide some commentary on how well each concept applies to our day-to-day lives.
